If we apply concepts from physics (laws) to biology (theories), DNA creating itself is a violation of systems going to maximum entropy.

I'm on the same page as Bill Gates, the concept of DNA and my background in programming led me to believe there was a creator. DNA is a 2-bit represented binary system, it is literally the same thing as compiled computer code with opcodes (primers) and modules (chromosomes). I've actually written software to deal with DNA in that sense (https://code.google.com/p/dnaprimers/). Structured, ordered information does not spontaneously generate itself, going back to philosophy and the monkey typewriter thing.

Existence existing is proof enough of a supernatural architect.
I think we already laughed enough at people trying to apply the second law of thermodynamics when they actually have no idea what it means. But please keep bringing that up. It's good to get as many of you people out in the open as possible.

Also, if DNA is so well designed, why is it that we need 6 bits (3 base pairs) to encode 20 amino acids? Even with the necessary start and stop codons, you only need 22 of the possible 64 combinations to actually create genes. That's 42 duplicate slots. It would have been far more efficient to use a 3 letter alphabet or a 5 letter alphabet. But I guess God wasn't too good at remedial math.

Actually the 2nd law of thermodynamics could apply quite readily here because this is a system going to cosmos instead of chaos. It was a simple comparison and a thought experiment.

To explain your second part, you have to rememeber they come in pairs for replication purposes. 3 and 5 alphabet would not pair. Furthermore, 4^2 is only 16 amino acids, so it had to be 4^3. A base-6 system would also have duplicates.

Actually, I was looking for intellectual replies, as opposed to the kinds of replies I was getting from your so called "conspiritard circle jerk," and no that was not my only response, just goes to show how you start typing a reply soon as you see a few keywords - without reading the rest.

Every time you make a post, it's pretty obvious you don't bother reading, you're just lazy, or you have the reading comprehension of a 3rd grader.

That about sums up my reasons for placing trolls on ignore, take it however you want it.

We are real intelligence, a lot harder to program than AI. We have checksums inside of our DNA. Jean-Claude Perez discovered an evolutionary mathematical matrix in DNA.

Perez discovered that the ratio of white letters to black letters is exactly 0.690983, which is (3-Phi)/2. Phi is the number 1.618, the Golden Ratio. When you overlay these 6 symmetries on top of each other, you get a set of mathematical stairs with 32 golden steps. Then an absolutely fascinating geometrical pattern emerges: The Dragon Curve which is well known in fractal geometry.

There is also evidence of checksums being used in string theory.. In fact one of the algorithms is identical to CRC16 code that a programmer wrote in the 1960's. It is the same checksum used in the TCP internet protocol. http://voices.yahoo.com/computer-cod...50.html?cat=34

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but this is the reason we see complex spiral growth pattern correct?

When i first heard about phi some friends told me about it and talked it up to some miracle discovery, once i looked it up i lost all interest and it seemed simple and plain.

Wrong, there is no such thing as a self programming system lol. The fuck are you smoking dude? Because whatever it is, it's obviously destroying your brain cells.

Um panspermia does nothing except move the goal post of the same exact question that needs to be answered.
You've obviously never met skynet.

Actually IMO... homeostasis, GIA, the human brain, monkly meditation, etc... all proof of self programming.

The universe is self ordering it orders itself on a galactic and universal level and a micro level. Everywhere we look we see order. Chaos would be complete fuzzy nothingness. There really is little focus point for white noise in the universe.

Even chaotic and gaseous nebulae have clear order and boundaries.
