no, they don't.

after all the wars were fought, and infrastructure was built, then they showed up expecting treatment superior to the average citizen

you wanna know why? nobody gives a shit about gender when everyone lives under threat of scalping or smallpox.

this alphabet people movement is a result of having no actual threats to deal with as one lives their life. Living in the USA is easy as fuck.

this lifestyle is a fad, the trendy issue of the day.

A BILLION YEARS IN PRISON FOR YOU

If it’s true, it’s ridiculous

If it’s not true, it’s still ridiculous

Everyone knows that to be oppressed is to have laws passed to protect you from even slight discomforts like words you don't like, million dollar endorsement deals, having your flag flown at the white house etc.. what a rough life!

I've made the point a million times but it bears repeating: when your identity (and income) is tied to fighting "oppression", you have a perverse incentive to ignore any progress that actually occurs. Bigotry is worse than EVER, you see, because now it's hidden (conveniently)! Please continue to pay me!

Or as douglas murray put it: the gay rights movement began as something laudable, and then just as the train of victory was rolling nicely into the station somebody slammed on the gas and they went flying past it, completely out of control.

i said it a decade ago when Homobama legalized gay marriage that these people aren't interested in civil rights, they seek superior rights.

If you want to pay me to shut up, Ooloo, that's a conversation we can have. This reactionary, fascist-friendly forum is not that important to me.

It's called mission creep, and the same thing happened with feminism, and all the mission creep became intersectional. But your error is thinking the batshit crazy stuff that goes on at college campuses or on social media is what most people actually think and believe.

forum isn't fascist-friendly, it's reality-friendly

the modern liberal doesn't believe that only gender is fluid, they believe that all of reality is fluid, and that the lone simple belief of one can dictate reality for the universe.

you have all conflated what you wish the world to be, for what it actually is.

This is why the ground you stand on cannot be more solid than the giant inflatable rainbow on which you all ride.

I think we need to be careful about painting everyone on one side or the other with a broad brush. That's one of the problems with the spread of social media and the internet. The loudest and most vocal people always tend to be the most extreme, which can lead all of us to the assumption that everyone on that side is that way or believes X, Y, or Z.

In reality, we're just hearing people who represent minorities of both sides (extreme left and extreme right) and we shouldn't let it color our opinions. It would be like basing your opinions of Republicans off of Ooloo...you'd end up thinking every single Republican is an uneducated conspiracy theorist which we are not.

It is unique how important it seems to be to be affirmed by the public versus by oneself

This really isn’t done for any other characteristic. You don’t see me going around telling people “I identify as buff, and if you don’t call me buff, it’s going to basically ruin my life. I’m buff right? Say I’m buff. Say it. Say it!!”

To me it all just seems so insecure
