There's a ton of different variants and rules surrounding DKP systems. A simple decay system would prevent DKP buildup with set item prices. Or you can go for a suicide kings type of system. We also use decay. It's not that simple really. Like I said, the dkp is moving a lot better now with the bidding. Open bidding is fine also. I'm a skeptic myself only because of most of the trash I have seen on p99 and other games. Most of the people in our guild are older and less pixel lusty. We've been around the block. Don't have time for the petty shit. It's a good fit for me.

There was only one person I ever refused to fight for when I was an officer. Bias can absolutely exist.

Nothing like your 95% Raid Attendance raid leader losing that roll on best in slot item X to casual Joe 2% Raid Attendance.

Pure DKP is best win. But some people are dumb and need to be saved from themselves unfortunately. Dagarn Legs for example don't belong on a Druid.

Assign a value toe every item, 10 points is the most, 1 is the least. You earn 1 point per hour you raid. 60 day decay (prevents people from leaving for a long time and coming back and snagging bis off of someone who's been grinding), and the person w/ the most amount of points get the item. Easy, transparent, and fair.

95% Raid Attendance raid leader is going to win that many more rolls than 2% attendance guy and 95% raid leader guy is probably going to be at the next raid too. There's always another raid, there's always another item. How much No Drop shit is there rotting in banks or just got deleted that would be upgrades to 90% of the guild but didn't go to someone because 95% raid attendance guy spent his DKP on a 2 delay upgrade?

Nothing is fairer than the dice. Suck it up and play to roll again.
