My only question is if they are trying to save to move DG from Australia to here, why is he only working 20 hours a week? Should have a second job, or he's not serious.

He was at work down in Santa Fe when I got into the hospital, he got up to Albuquerque pretty damn quick. Stayed with me until I was released at five in the morning, then spent Thursday with me. He da best.

I feel a lot worse than I look. There's a small chunk of my scalp missing (lolew), knee is kind of gross, and one major road rash wound across my left calf. Feels like someone punched all of my insides though. My head feels so gross. If I run my fingers across it, there's literally just like, a chunk missing.

After the neck brace came on I was kind of fingering through my hair. Apparently the street gave me a haircut. RIP six inches of hair.

Not as fucked up as I thought it would be, but definitely not worth repairing. The entire front half is just kind of smooshed back to the rest of the bike. The pedal shouldn't be able to touch the tire :[

I've been in bed for like, 20 hours now and this shit is driving me crazy. ACK!

I'm not sure, I can't even pick up the police report for another week. I'm blessed in the fact that I have a family full of lawyers, my Gramps said I should contact one of my uncles who used to practice in New Mexico and see if he can get me someone decent.

Really though, I have no idea how this sort of thing works. Will I end up taking this guy to court? Will it even ever see a courtroom? Iunno. Was definitely his fault.

did he get charged w/a dui? i dont know the answer to your questions but i'd lawyer up, be vigilant and stay on top of it

i was hit once by an asian guy reversing out of his parking lot spot in an suv. i was not hospitalized just had some minor bruises, but my bike needed repairs a lot worse than yours. in the aftermath, the guy who hit me made me a lot of big promises about repairing or replacing my bike. because he was so apologetic and nice at the time i stupidly said "ok ok" and as the days went by his promises slowly shifted to "I will pay for HALF of your bike repairs" to "oh well if YOU buy new bike parts, sure, ill help you install them!"
