You have to maintain a presence near the camp you are claiming. If you are gone, you can't contend the camp versus anyone else who comes along to claim it. Contrary to jimjams claims they don't have to kill anything. The whole system is predicated on someone contending a camp versus someone else.

Yep, as long as no one contends the camp. You can hang out with hadden all day soaking your balls in jumjum juice, but when Johnny Phatlewtz shows up you gotta keep the PH/Mob killed.
