I want to poit out there are TWO types of people in this thread:

1. people who hate guns and have litreallyl NO idea what they are talking about, examples are "there is no connection between communism and taking guns" or "that guy used an assault weapon!" imidatly followed with "oh I actaully dont know about the subject in detail, but I have a huge opinion and t hink we shoudl make laws based on that opinion, that I am now informing you that my opinion is not based on reality but instead its based on my fantasies. I admit that. But I still think my opinion is right and yours is wrong."

OR

it is full of people who say "these are the facts, you can solve the problems you have in X number of ways that are constitutional, here is evidence that supports the claims, nothing is absolute but there are solutions that are more fitting, legal, constitutional, support our system of goverment, and likely would work better than the ONE solution the other group is SCREAMING is the only solution."

Which group is the dumb one? Well the first group would say unequivocally the second group is.

Reminder, nothing that the left is saying about guns hasn't been said by a communist coup already.

They even teach this shit in public schools, lol. It's not like it's some radical, niche political theory.

People are born free. All the founding documents of the US acknowledge this, that humans have inherent, inalienable rights. Amendments are just a few of these rights spelled out, intending to help make sure everyone knows what the government is NOT supposed to do... like infringe on freedom of expression, the right to bear arms, etc.
