Imagine if Trump came out with the story first about Biden's son. The democrats desperately needed to post a narrative first. Imagine if they came 2nd and started accusing Trump after the fact.

They saw what was being looked into and knew they had to jump out first with their own story to try and get attention off themselves. They clearly made a tactical choice.

Impeachment, which won't go very far, is meant to be a distraction from what Biden in his role of democrat vice president did.
