BDA has taken a more active role in the raid scene, we are in agreement there. But how does us commenting on FE getting a kill over TMO equate to our "desire to play being based on pissing people off and getting satisfaction from it." Even you contend "FE is not competition", so if FE is getting targets over TMO, that's a big accomplishment for FE. And I know more mains in FE than TMO that need the loot, so I AM glad when FE gets a kill over TMO. But that doesn't alter my desire to play, nor the desires of my guildmates.

Finally, please explain how "casuals quitting en masse" has anything to do with your previous argument. Casuals at all levels phase in and out of the game due to IRL constraints and other reasons. Thankfully, our charter recognizes the real world and we adapt with the members we have.

The proof was in the raid rules and decisions Ambrotos made. Remember that Trak where he stopped the raid right before his deployment? If you think nilbog or rogean were actively investigating GM's you are highly confused (see Amelinda/Cyrius/Hobby/Xzerion etc.) \

Secondly, if you are glad FE gets a kill you would say something along the lines of Grats FE or good for them, but you (meaning your guild) chooses to say, "at least TMO didn't get it". This demonstrates a attitude that receives pleasure when TMO was denied something. This obviously relates to taking pleasure in others misfortune.


Your casuals aren't phasing out... they are phasing to other guilds. You also have a few apps that members such as yendor are accusing of being TMO spies. Seems BDA caught a VD.

Yes we know, "it's just pixels", right?

EQMac was proud that they had mature enough players to agree to leave the sleeper sleeping, because it ensured that future classic progression guilds could experience that content and gear themselves up for the next tier. Relapse and crew specifically did this in order to ruin that. So it's not about the dragon, because I believe the GM ended up resetting the event anyway. It's about their intent, which is what makes them shit.

But spinning a conspiracy theory here in RNF is working about as well for TMO as it is for VD/BDA/FE. You still haven't shown how any conspiracy theory created by BDA/FE directly relates to our desire to play the game, changing it from my point that "BDA plays to enjoy the game" (1) to your point "BDA derives enjoyment from pissing off TMO".

I, and I imagine most people in BDA, know more mains in FE that will use the raid drops more than we know mains in TMO that will benefit from the raid drops. For instance, I know every single Trak tooth that FE and BDA obtain will go to main raiders. TMO has over 40 teeth banked, and I've seen sub-60s in VP gear. I know TMO's trak teeth are not going to main raiders. It makes me happy to see main raiders, from any guild, obtain gear. By saying, "At least TMO didn't get it," we are stating our pleasure at raid loot going to a main character, not a 3rd L60 purchased with plat off the EC tunnels. We are taking pleasure in others fortune, not TMO's misfortune. Again, because one person/force obtains loot, that means another did not. That is the system TMO enjoys, that is the system I play under. It is a side-effect, not the cause for my desire to raid.
