Red is a learning curve, there's no denying that. If you're smart you'll pick up things that are common sense quite quickly (such as turning off trades unless you're actually trading, getting resist gear, a see invis item, etc).

If not, you'll learn, but you'll learn sooner rather than later. Its not much different to learning pve things on blue... monk pulling tricks, sneak pulling, how to split certain camps, when to cast that big wiz nuke etc.

Are you annoyed that you learnt the hard way on something? Probably happened to a lot of people, not that they'd admit it.
