Damn that sucks, I've recently been told I should have my wisdom teeth removed.

Two of them seem to have grown in fine while the other 2 may or may not be fucked.

I don't wanna have them removed mainly cause I hate being put under anesthesia, has anyone had wisdom teeth removed while being awake? How bad is it? Lol

How bad was the pain/swelling afterwards? How long did it take to heal enough so that you could eat normally? Would a smoker experience discomfort following removal of their wisdom teeth? Should I not smoke for a bit till it heals?

Tasslehof, there's not going to be a difference in the after-effects of someone who was put under anesthesia versus someone who wasn't; it simply varies from person to person. When I got my wisdom teeth out I went to a Drum Corps show that very evening (I wasn't expecting to) and ate an elephant ear, while the girl I went with who'd gotten her teeth out a month earlier said she couldn't do anything for a few days. It really depends on how impacted they are. I was like a poster child for getting one's wisdom teeth out though =P I think most people need a day off.

you absolutely don't wanna smoke cigarettes, for a long fucking time or ever again

as for marijuana you'll wanna wait week+ I think it was, I did it too early and didn't enjoy the high
