Alan Hovhaness * Sinfonia n. 6 op. 173 "Celestial gate"

tonal 20th century American (Armenian) composer. sort of American minimalism / ethnical Armenian fusion. reminds me a bit of Yoshimatsu actually (sounds rather Eastern) but without the big ole noises - more contemplative than cosmic. it's really good. he's got a "Mt. St. Helens Symphony" i haven't got to yet. sir met him once.

Not a huge fan of metal all the time (particularly death roars) but the chorus is powerful in this one.

I am listening to a famous song " My Heart Will Go On" from the movie "Titanic". Which I really like the best. Most wonderful and romantic movie of its period.
