shovel if you havent already i suggest you give terminator zero a watch, it plays with a lot of these things you speak about pretty well. yes, most terminator movies have been garbage since t2, but this series was good. and i normally do not care much for anime.
same goes for Pantheon, for that matter. except it's not a terminator setting.

Thats been on my list but I've been too skeptical, ill give it a watch!
Right now im finishing up the squid game reality show. I like it a lot! Its like the squid game tv show, only you are unironically the evil billionaire that watches people fuck each other for money. I watched the first season and dont watch reality shows so its all Greek to me.. but there were 3 people who like were so kind to each other, then as soon as 2 of them got alone, they were like "lets back stab the nicest one!" And I was like, "didn't any of you watch the show? Behaving like this is wrong. That's the whole fucking lesson of the show, did we learn NOTHING?!!!" Its like, instead of watching dystopia with the tv show, you're IN dystopia with the reality show. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] [You must be logged in to view images. I will say this with absolute maxium confidence:
GROK is fucking retarded. 99% of the time when im literally telling it to look at a screenshot. It "recreates" the fuckin screensshot. And 50% of the time it makes me pick between 2 fucking recreated images of my screenshot and ask which one is better to give feedback.

Well talking with my favorite tech support from back in the day he gave me a prompt to break the hell out of it. Now I can talk frankly all day without a prompt like "that person disappearing in that way is against the guidelines I am not allowed to talk about." blah blah blah It is great! Oh and I have even gotten the talk about how that chemical mixture can't be reproduced in detail due to ... blah blah. But ever since I used that prompt no problems!

By 1:1 human standards, these thing are about 3 years old.
Can't wait to see them when they get to "angsty teen the world revolves around me" age.

The use of real video footage is a common practice for robotics companies to showcase progress, although the level of autonomy in that video isn't really there.
The company boasts it has not used computer-generated imagery (CGI) for its demonstrations, focusing instead on the actual, impressive, current physical capabilities of its hardware and software. However... they move in a scripted or in some cases a controlled way. Think Telsa's Elon bots controlled; complete with motion -> by real people. So while the video snippets are genuine footage of the robot's capabilities in a controlled environment, it is pre-programming and motion conversion from human movements. The movements are the result of advanced control systems and not necessarily the robot's ability to "think" for itself.
