It's like cracking your knuckles. Does it feel good for that moment? Kind of. It doesn't really do anything tho.

That does feel good. It's like paying a lady to make you feel good.

Tell it. Imagine going to your mechanic and he says

"welp.. I cant "fix" it. What I can do is this. We're gonna work your suspension, make it travel around. Gonna compress all the shocks and articulate the wheels til they bottom out or run out of travel. Then we're gonna turn the steering wheel back and forth, a lot. Even though the shock is broken, leaking, and collapsed, we wont replace or repair it. We're gonna put these straps on the front and back of the frame, then pull really hard til we hear some clicks. Then we're gonna get out a power hammer, beat on the shock and shock mount. Then you can come back in a month and we'll do it again. "

Starkind im having flashbacks of this gay dude i knew in the navy. He used to go to the doctor all the time to get felt up. He told me one day in line "just get me in there, feel me up already!" and it was kind of a joke til people noticed he was there once a week. Once he found out this handsome commander was a dentist, he started having tooth problems. LOL Shit was hilarious. That poor doctor didnt know this dude just wanted some touch lolol

The only reason I won't let Cen touch me is that I'm gross and don't deserve it. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

So you don't think the body's alignment has anything to do with its function?

So that question isn't technicially a loaded question, but the problem is that phrasing has multiple equivocations and your going to change it. "Allignment of the body" is a phrase used more for the psudeosciences.

Just because chiropractic isn't a science and someone makes that statement doesn't mean they are asserting any other type of claims. Likewise if someone disagrees with me on an issue im not going to say "so you don't think drinking water every day is part of a healthy diet?"

No, actually, I'm gonna leave it exactly as it is since it's intended to be a loaded question since I disagree with your authoritative-sounding dismissal of an entire discipline. Form follows function. A problem in form leads to dysfunction. That's basic anatomy and physiology, a science which chiropractors happen to be musculoskeletal experts in.

Now come on hang on a second.
I'm not an authority on very much.

I mentioned the problem with equivocations though. Sounds to me like we just agree.

Form follows function, I don't know what that means but it sounds good to me. A problem in form causes dysfunction. Sounds good too. Is that basic anatomy? I have no clue but sounds good to me. Are chiros an "expert"? In some equivocations that word sounds right.

So it sounds like we've been in agreement the whole time! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

But have we?

I think you can realign a spine as much as you want but if someone continues to sit in a chair for 9 hrs a day stoned and hyperfixated on their coding and data entry, then proceeds to lift their 120lbs of backup hardrives and lawnmower on the weekend with their back and walk hunched over their shopping carts in malnutrition and exhaustion, what, is, kinda, the point?
