I've grouped a few times with the op, hes a good puller.
Unless your in a guild group or a group full of friends all droppable loot should not be seen as items.
See them as plat. And everyone in the group deserves a shot at the Tstaff.

Nevermind about the group not getting the T staff because of your awesome pulls.
I know you play your monk well, but without your group,
You would not have got close to that mob without being in that group.
