Only thing the player base should ask for is constancy with the rules and the punishment handed out for breaking them. I have trouble understanding how I've heard people get suspended for 2 weeks or even a month for boxing when there are sticky threads saying it is punishable by BAN. Yet, there are players seemingly still perma banned for rules that were recently made up out of thin air after 2 years of not having such rules for doing what is essentially the whole point of the server [PvP].

I have a hard time buying there isn't some bias here and personal vendetta's against certain people. It kind of hurts the credibility of the server, guild tags and affiliations aside. Its wrong.

Do the right thing if the GM's didn't fully understand the rules how are the players expected to do so-- unban the people that were specifically banned for their actions against these rules or just come out and say that they were banned for some other reason.

Well guys, wish me luck becoming rich, famous and getting my sex change, so I can put up a legit box, run by professionals, for the world to see what a real EQ pvp server should be like:

Item Loot
Classic Levels 1-50
+/-4 levels range
Classic EXP
Classic Resists

It cannot be beat. Sure this server has 200 players almost now. But that's 150 bad players. With poor sportsmanship and bad referee's.

The simple version: If your going to play ball, better to play on a field with your pals/friends, good players for fun. Than just for the $$ in a corrupt league were your team get's payed off to throw the game. Is R99 better than blue? Sure, by a margin, but might as well play on blue in the long run. Shit seems boring pixel quest, and leads to burnout for anyone good at the game.

This shit is so half assed and no were near professional, or friendly anymore. It's some kind of mutant WoW-beast of EQ pvp.

PvP server should have stayed at legacy classic for over a year until they fixed the game, with RZ rules.

But these GM's just want to see population. What they don't understand and will probably refute ignorantly is that pop here, is pop they would just accrue on blue. There's probably 10 players here that wouldn't reroll blue if this box shut down. Probably 40 on the fence, that might play on a real pvp server if the option was provided and this box didn't have population.

Tons of fence sitters. Sux. Can't do anything bout it at the moment though.

So if I am understanding all the posts correctly, small scale PvP only has one rule in play:

1. If LNS is called it must be granted and the winning team can decide which zone to lock out. If LNS is not called no rules apply.

So the stuff about leaving the zone after a death occurs causing an automatic LNS was misplaced and meant for large scale pvp?

I realize that being 'banned' instead of 'suspended' implies permanency, but that's not always the case. We will often use ban in situations where we want to send a clear message, or when we want people to come and contact us about their accounts before the ban is lifted. Being told "You have been banned" is a lot more jarring than "You have been suspended" when you try to log in.

Tune was not even banned for a week before he started his epic trail of tears. He violated a rule, got punished for it, and started to QQ up the entire red server forum section over this grave, tragic, indisputable injustice, calling out the entire staff in the process.

He'd probably already be unbanned if he hadn't lost his shit 5 days into his punishment. I'm done defending my actions. He broke a clear rule. And even if by some grey-area rule-lawyer lobby-questing retroactive rule application miracle defense it turned out Tune was somehow innocent of that, he still went full retard up and down these forums, and is going to have to live with that for now.

Tune should know better than anyone that getting a toon banned doesn't necessarily mean it will be lost forever. He's had toons banned in the past that he currently has access to.
