Okay so I'll bite for a second and stop trolling.

The bottom line with Red99 boils down to a few major key points:

First, the population is exceedingly small. This does not allow for a variety of guild choices, player style choices, or even friendships. I know for a fact that the way I conduct myself on this server would have disallowed me to be in any kind of guild on live. However, here I have a spot because I'm a fairly active player. Population problems cause people who wouldn't normally play together do just that; play together. That's where we get people who were formerly enemies under one tag in Nihilum.

Second, players on Red99 have the longest memories in the history of online roleplaying games. Any kind of insult, train, or pvp that occurred a year, two years ago, or even on a different server is held against any player or group of players to the detriment of everyone. This mainly impacts Azrael's side. Some examples of these beefs include Kringe & Friedchicken, Tunak & Heartbrand, and Elderan & logic. The players on Red99 are some of the most hardcore players and because of this their rivalries run deep. I get that. But it becomes harmful to the progress and to the server at large when so few players refuse to play with each other. Ultimately, tribalism, rival factions, whatever you want to call them are harmful to the server at large.

Third, there are no defined rules for this server. This server needs a set-in-stone rule set in place that does not bend. I understand Sirken does his best and is a volunteer. I wouldn't be a GM here if it was a paid position because the thought of dealing with every aspect of this community makes me want to hurl myself in front of a train. However, rules are necessary. More importantly, the enforcement of said rules is paramount to the success of the server. Some examples would be:
1) Train = 7 days first offense
2) Train = 30 days second offense
3) Train = 90 days / perma-ban third offense

I personally wouldn't join Nihilum nor would they even entertain the idea of having me. However, if someone wants to join them that does not make them a bad person nor change who they are necessarily. I like people in Nihilum and people in Nihilum like me. I don't care if people I'm friends with kill me or if I kill them, because it's a video game.

Handpartytowel

Known Aliases: Handpartytowel, Heather, Helenkeller

Synopsis: I'd regard HPT as a pal, he doesn't care much about pixels. Rumor has it he is one of the original founders of MQ2 and knows how to write code that Brogean cannot detect.

Conclusion: HPT jumped ship, but it felt like it had more to do with his friends who had already jumped then him actually caring about pixels. I'd trust HPT if the rest of his friends were under the same roof.

Feniggles

Known Aliases: Feniggles, Fenix

Synopsis: Feniggles is hard to read, you're never sure where you have him or who he chooses to listen to. He will have you believe he was a loyal force member but i have reports saying he started swinging from Nihilums nuts prior to his force membership, only back then Nihilum was not being contested so his application was denied. I do enjoy the friendship with Feniggles, he is a true pvp player who doesn't really care about pixels (the vibe he gives off) but then again he did apply to Nihilum as he was leveling up which can only mean he does indeed care about pixels, i really don't know.

Conclusion: Feniggles isn't an emotional player which is great, i have no idea why he chose to apply to Nihilum the first time he did, i do somewhat understand the second time (parts of his guild "Force" went to Nihilum). I get a trustworthy vibe from Feniggles even though he did the things he did.

Stasis

Known Aliases: Stasis, Danak

Synopsis: Stasis left his holocaust pals when the server was on the down low with about 60 players peaking and joined Nihilum as a last resort. Stasis does not care about pixels, neither is he emotional. Great addition to any guild, the only down side is he can't play that much anymore.

Conclusion: I really have nothing bad to say about Stasis, his whistle is extremely clean, the only advice i'll give is don't hate the fools who did you wrong too much, it won't lead you anywhere good.

Retti

Known Aliases: Retti, Duress, Ratti

Synopsis: Retti is an highly emotional player that wants to come off as the "cool kid". He will rage, he will scream and he will flip flop. Hes done it before and will do it again. Retti is also known for his thirst for pixels, there's proof him paying $$$ RL money for elf swords. More evidence of his extreme pixel lust comes from a thread where he said trading in "EC" was his favorite memory from EQ1999 while others shared stories and memories of big pvp battles.

Conclusion: I get many red flags telling me Retti cannot be trusted, highly emotional and unstable player that will flip to the flop whenever shit goes bad and may even RMT his shit away if he gets too frustrated.
