Bazia first of all there is no way to 'ban' all Proxy/VPN 'countries'. a VPN or proxy can be ran off a normal household connection and you wouldn't be able to tell by IP address alone. Secondly, almost every one of those free proxy programs do not work with the majority of games. Most of them only are fit for a simple web browser other easy direct connections. The reason why you failed to login saying IP in use is most likely because you were already on, And the program you ran for the proxy did not support whatever protocol most games use and it would still try to login under your true IP.

This was literally like reading a foreign language.

Legitimize claims? I don't currently work for the government, Glad we cleared that up.

Now to try and put it in newbie terms, Simply put most of these proxy programs you are running support a simple TCP connection where almost every standalone game like EQ, WoW, D3 and such do majority of connections via UDP. There ARE certain socks/5 proxys that support tcp/udp but nothing you are going to find free. I don't know if elaborating more is appropriate because last thing we need are a bunch of idiots learning how to run proxys to box p99. Plus the last thing I need is to get forum banned because I am try to explain to some apes/trolls the workings of certain game connection protocols.

@Graahle

I was merely trying to respond and chuckle at the quote below, Considering VPNs and IPs don't just come from china or india. They are all over the world, A large portion of them usually near data centers in very populated areas where there is a heavy bandwidth demand. That includes places like Chicago, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Miami, NY, ATL etc

only way to control would be to end ip exemptions and probably ban all accounts from high VPN/IP proxy countries

I don't think Agatha would lie to us anyway. Who cares how Jupe is employed?

Let's play EQ!

What do Brobb's poor decisions mean for Force and the server as a whole?
