Upcoming changes

Nirgon all I see is you complaining about resist in almost every thread you post. Not many others post these same complaints at this time.

Also I sit around 100 MR and I rarely get snared or rooted. I can count on resisting about 14/15 of them and when one finally lands i just dispell it. And thats just 100 MR.

Not to mention the time they sit there spamming root or snare I am killing the shit outta them.

I honestly just think you are a giant troll who is too blue to play on a server where once a day you get rooted for 15 seconds where you cant be good enough to just dispell yourself.




I say we just give every melee character max resistances so spells are useless and have it so casters die in 1 shot to melee damage. Sounds like a good time imo.

if you apply the current resist rates to group/mass pvp and think about it for maybe thirty seconds you'll realize why this is horribly, horribly awfully horrible

1/20 roots currently will land with good MR which is even easier to come by in a group with a bard or MR buffer. Can you not handle that? Seriously? Learn to play bro.

Perfect example was the duo BotB. Not a single root landed the entire tourny. People who sat their casting it got owned. Stop the crying imo. There are more important matters like xp loss in pvp, YT, group xp, Tstaff op.

I'm sitting at 149mr on my rogue unbuffed. The only thing I'm really missing is a tranix crown. However that being said the amount of times I've been first cast rooted has gone beyond count. 1/20 is not even close to the amount of times root lands at that mr level, get your facts straight.

Everything about this guy's post is just clueless on game balance. EQ live is not a forced grouping game for PvP. There were far more people walking around solo PvPing on Sullon Zek than in groups at any given time during this era.

Someone claimed it takes 180 magic resist on here to get 95% resistant to CC? I had the best gear on the server on Sullon Zek on my monk pre-luclin with fungi, tstaff, epic, etc, and only had like 120magic resist at most.

Then you think it's OK for the months long leveling process from 1-60, for any jewish scumbags that walk around in a group of 6 attacking soloers with mage pets to just get free kills while the other person is perma cc'd in place? That's why this server has 0 population, because of clueless resist design (from null) and people like you.

Then you have Tstaff, mine (pre-luclin) on SZ never proc'd for longer than 3-4 seconds max, and sometimes it would only last 1 second or so. WHY the fuck does it last 18 seconds on here??? what the fuck?

its more of a closer imo or to be used when you have the clear advantage

but its a+++ effective as a closer to score kills that would never happen in classic eq
