Thinking about this more, this isn't surprising at all. After all, the raid targets needed all these Mighty bonuses to make up for the nonclassic game mechanics engine. Logically, if the normal content doesn't get those bonuses then you'll just steamroll it.

I'm glad I didn't seriously try Phinny. Raiding is OK, but group content is the best part of EQ IMO (not surprising, as it was intended as a group game originally). When I see people doing Upper Guk at L15 with 1500 HP and hitting for 100 with a 5 damage weapon, that's just pretty sad.

Surviving a fight isn't an issue, neither is pulling. Coming into Luclin with some sick Velious gear means I don't need to augment my mitigation with those AAs. The biggest difference a person can make to a raid is shortening the raid. Killing shit faster will be paramount.

On a sensible server just apply more rogues.

On whatever that creation is I bet everyone is boxing a mage or some shit to zerg with.
