I saw this as them making fun of Apple's over-the-top SJW mentality. Judging by the comments -- I seem to be the only one on the internet that didn't take this as some kind of literal proposal for white tax (or some joke like "haha white tax wouldn't be funny?").

There was something there but in the end it wasn't funny. Still find it sad people were mad enough about this to get all serious faced and say stuff like: "This isn't funny this is racism!"
