i have come to the conclusion that eq pvp would be much more fun if it was like diablo 2 ladder in that every so often server is reset and we all start over. former box chars get transfered to blue to retire from the pvp life.

My experience on both servers was about the same. On one server, I was in the guild that challenged the GM guild and got banned. On the other server, I was in the GM guild but lost interest because the competition was wiped out through non legit means. I feel sorry for people to whom pixels are so important that they will destroy a game so they can say "I win!"

The good thing about VZTZ though was that the devs realized that after a while the corruption at the top turns people off so you have to wipe and start over to maintain interest. Project1999 doesn't care that people have lost interest.

sever pop is highest its ever been, but yea its mostly turn over. Only the sick or privledged play here.
