I really lik the development. I don't see his opinions conflicting with originalism. He just doesn't allow rightwing ideology to override precedent or cloud his evaluation of original intent/meaning. Would like to see a bench full of Kavanaughs/Robertses, but would settle for one more replacing one of the leftwing justices to give us a 3-3-3 court.
