If I wore a MAGA hat in public, there is a decent chance someone might try to assault me. The main thing preventing it would be my size, since most rational people tend to only pick fights they think they can win
Luckily, however, I am not stupid enough to put conservative bumper stickers on my car, wear political clothing in public, go to political protests, or do anything that would otherwise make me a target
