Oregon became the first state to decriminalize small amounts of cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine and other drugs. And in New Jersey and Arizona voters decisively passed laws legalizing recreational marijuana. Cannabis is now legal across a large bloc of states in the West — from Washington down to the Mexican border — and well beyond.
Gross.

All drugs should be decriminalized. Prohibition incentivizes violence, incarceration makes bad people worse. Treatment should be the tactic for stopping addiction
Treatment helps those who want to be helped. This doesn't involve it becoming a part of society. Kept behind closed doors, locked.

Figures you and me would see this differently. Choking on bile here.

Criminalizing a bad habit throws a person away. We throw too many people away my friend, is soulless and ungodly. We mandate treatment, not throw people into prison where they become even worse

Very well. Mandate what you will, impose your goodness on another. If they don't really want it they will return to their meth/crack asap. I have seen it happen a few too many times. Resentment towards the person trying to help is real. Some of them are in a hard place, others choose to live that and want that life.

Will there be cutoff points, such as a three strike rule or an always open door for help?

It works in Portugal buddy, lowest drug related everything in the OECD

I’m not sure of the logistics. I’m quite certain our prison population is the worst design possinle. We are an unhealthy nation across the board, it’s time to make a change and accept Christ

Seattle will see your decriminalize heroin and coke and raise you decriminalize all non-violent misdemeanors. Yes, you heard that right. Feel free to steal $500 bikes, smash Starbucks windows and slash car tires within Seattle city limits.

Donald Trump is ahead by 78,000 votes in North Carolina with 100% of the votes cast. State has not been 'called' yet.

In Georgia, with 99.44% Reporting Donald Trump is ahead by 92,000 votes and the state has not been 'called' even if all remaining votes go Biden he still can't overcome the deficit.
