Your freedom of speech protects you from the state. You cannot be jailed for (non-violent) speech. It does not protect your employment. Your employer may terminate your employment for any reason, especially if you're a liability.

But I think we should agree that liking a single, non-controversial political post on Facebook shouldn't be considered a liability.

Also, a mob of students caused him to be suspended. Over nothing.

What happened here is retarded as fuck and not normal.

Can we at least agree to that?
