If you base your self worth and meaning in life off of money and the money you make, you are quite shallow. Money is a necessary element in our lives, but some of the greatest people I have met in my lifetime we're not rich by any means.

I can't even fathom thinking to myself I am better than someone else because I have a bigger paycheck than them, wow. You come off as an egotistical pos, if I may be frank.

And to post a rather average pay stub to top it all off? Shit man, the way you talk I would expect ten times that amount.

Anyway, I feel pity for you more than anything. No one deserves to have to live with the warped mentality that money justifies their existence in this life and defines their whole being. Truly sad.

Honestly money is just an example of what you could be doing instead of playing EQ full time and instead using that extra 8-14 hours a day on pursuing your real life goals which won't dissapear when some nerd pulls the plug on his electric ant farm.

I get that you are "trying to help people see the error of their ways," but obviously you're not gonna help anyone realize stepping away from EQ is a healthy choice. Certainly, going after a player like me (someone who plays a few times a year or when otherwise debilitated) with foam at the mouth is not going to help any of the neckbeards standing on the line to FTE the next Vulak.

Meanwhile, you've come to p99 RNF to scream about how much better you are because you make more money than most people. You've literally posted unasked for paystubs. Who are you trying to impress? Do you really think we care?

More importantly, how is shaming and personally attacking these fragile humans going to help them wake up from their serious addiction?

It's 2017. It's no secret that a fat bank account won't save you from the existential misery of existence. In fact, we know for a fact that the only thing that matters is the community a person builds of family and friends.

I'm certainly not going to deny that I hate every moment of what it takes to make that money. If you can enjoy yourself and survive, more power to ya.

But society demands you make a living, and living on everquest will not make a living.

In ten years I can retire at a very young age and enjoy the rest of my life. Can these people who spend their time poopsocking and racing say the same? I'm going to guess no.

If I can inspire ONE person to change, it's all worth it
