It has come to my attention that France was dunked on in WW2 after a decade of war preparation and barrier creation.

If France is so great and dominant as that expansion map shows, how did they get slapped across the map by a war-torn 2nd world nation after WW1?

Is it possible that all French land gains were not military conquests and/or victories, but rather litigated by zog (you called it French diplomacy in this instance).

Is it possible that France has never paid the Iron Price for anything?

Oh we did pay the iron price. More than you ever will. If you ever come to france, you'll basically walk on blood. You can go to any small village in france, and you'll see a monument to the dead that came from that village. I live near Oradour-Sur-Glane. Every year we still find bombs that didn't explode, and have to call deminers. Actually had to call them because we had some construction at my work, and the area had been bombed in WW2 since it's close to a trainstation.. just in case. At the current rate, we think we're gonna be done with them all in 800 years. There's even a 450 squared miles zone where it's forbidden to build or even live because it's been shelled so much. And actually that is pretty sad, sounds way worse than my neighborhood where we are armed to the teeth and never had a shooting since houses were first built here some 30yrs ago. But then this isn't a Democrat liberal controlled big city where most of those murders take place. In some of those cities, police have been literally driven out of communities by the residents and left to fend for themselves.

Who gives two F's about France anyway? The French side of my family left before the revolution, then fought against the British in the American revolution. If they would have stayed in France, likely they would have been slaughtered in the defeat of the French by the French.

As far as for French defeats, not totally accurate. In the case of "de Gaulle Syndrome" where French do win wars, in the case were Americans do most of the fighting. I'd thank France for the little belated help in the American revolution, but they were all murdered on Bastille day some years later, that France stopped existing long ago.

Right. The casein part is the rat study (milk protein) which is kind of tangential to the huge population study (animal protein in general is the conclusion). I've read the whole thing, you can just do China Study PDF and find it for free; I did a few years ago anyway. It's extremely interesting. I had no dog in the fight when I read it but after that and further study, did amend my diet. Nutritional science does have a long way to go, but Campbell's research is more convincing to me than the keto and paleo research. There's a debate on youtube between Colin Campbell (plant-based) and Eric Westman (keto) that is pretty good. Obviously I'm no nutritional scientist, but was convinced at the time I pulled together the research.
