I suppose my questions are colored by the fact that I'm a nerdy computer guy who has been meeting nerdy computer girls online since before many of you were born.

Its the environment and quality of girls. Think about how many times a night a girl will be hit on in a bar. Now, unless you're dealing with one of these "Tee Hee I'm a girl and I tell everyone I'm a girl every 5 seconds online" (don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about) then she's more than likely not going to be hit on all that much. She's not going to be used to such a thing so its going to be easier to win her over if you know what you're doing. Its more challenging to pick a girl up at a club than it is online, trust me.

Second, is quality of girls. We have a couple of pretties who post and play here, but The highest I've seen is a 7. If you want to even have a CHANCE at scoring a 9 or a 10 then you have to go out to these clubs and play your cards right. And any man who says he doesn't want a 9 or 10 is either lying to impress someone, or has beat himself down so low that he thinks he doesn't deserve a 9 or 10. Hell, I challenge any of you to even SHOW me a 10, most guys I know who think a chick they meet is a 10 is really just an 8 and occasionally a 9. In fact I've only met one girl who was a 10 in my LIFE.

Uh, BOYS are obsessed with "9's and 10's." MEN, you know, guys 30 and over, eventually learn there's a hell of a lot more to woman than what she looks like. Pretty is just icing on the cake.

Indeed! Good looks are nice, but only go so far. The kinkier a woman is the higher her stock goes. If she turns out to to be even MORE perverted than you are then you have a winner. If she can manage that and not be bat-shit crazy too then you have a keeper!

Seriously, the best looking girl I ever dated was a ballet dancer who was built like a brick shithouse, yet couldn't seem to wrap her pea-sized brain around anything more adventurous than sex on the living room carpet. I got bored fast, but mostly because we never had anything to talk about.

My experience with "9's and 10's" are that they are either more trouble than they are worth or they are just seriously boring.
