Since you're so sure of yourself and your opinion, and especially due to the fact that you're such a "high roller"; I guess you wouldn't mind telling us what your toon's names are in game then, so we know to leave our camps / groups just for the privilege of porting your lame ass.
And you just made our argument for us when you used the bartender analogy... who pays us exactly? Why is our service free exactly? And who's my boss in game again? I forget.

I can hardly believe someone would make this post, knowing that the outcome couldn't be good. I wouldn't be surprised if he requests a port to butcher block and ends up in tox by accident >.>

I arrived to play this morning, ran through the tunnels, took up position to offer ports. There is a druid there whose name I shall refrain from announcing. I generated my -- much shortened message -- to announce I'm offering ports. I don't ever mention money, most people are generous, which for me is nice. Some just say they are too poor. I don't push. Consider this though, I stand there for hours in that spot, sometimes without anyone coming along. Don't ask me why I do this -- we all enjoy different things. To me porting is part of the pleasure of playing.
Today, however, without warning, my tell window pops up and I find the aforementioned druid swearing at me! He asked me if I'm "****** for real". I wasn't even aware of this thread at that point. I asked him what his problem was and he logged. Really, I'm astonished. Some people have too much time on their hands. Pay or don't pay. It's your choice -- that easy. I often port folks for very little money and for free. Some tip me well. I do consider people who expect me to stand there for free whilst they level to be rude, though normally I would never say so. Some ports involve me hunting for bat wings to levitate people, they involve me running people through CT into Feerot. Sometimes I have to cross 3 zones to pickup a level one. When I'm busy with ports, I spend ages just looking at a loading screen. Some ports take 15-20 mins to sort out. Low level folks sometimes die, and I feel responsible and try to help. It's work! Most folks really appreciate my efforts. Clearly some don't. Those who don't can take a hike as far as I'm concerned. | ||

Curb inflation by making a port bot/plat sink at the EC tunnel for 100pp/port, allow the druids/wizards to undercut the bot.
