He is, supposedly, correct. The way it was explained to me, was that if the server is experiencing a lot of lag and you die but use a clickie before your client registers the death, the server will receive the information that you were trying to use the item but you are dead which results in a fizzle.

I have been trying to reproduce this without success because I have not yet had an opportunity when the server was experiencing lag. Of course, it would be extremely helpful if the staff chimed in with how the code was set up here and whether or not it was technically possible.

Diggles I'm not sure if you've realized this yet but I've had you on ignore on here for months now. Nothing you say or post is even remotely interesting or funny. Please stop stalking me and for future reference when the moment of truth comes don't shoot up your local school those toddlers are innocent and Adam Lanza isn't cool and shouldn't be your idol.

Freiza if you could actually replicate that I would apologize to Alarti.

When you die while attempting to use a clickie item it shows as fizzle regardless of class.

You mean like how FE pulled Hoskar through the ceiling on us multiple times... or How we pull and mobs randomly pop through walls? I know you are knew to VP and all but the pathing is fucked. QQ moar imo
we all know its not random and it is very easy reproduced. i've submitted to nilbog and friends what I think is the cause of this shitty pathing both in VP and other zones with the hopes that it can be fixed.

pulling a mob up to the top of the VP ceiling will always result in wonky pathing since there is no normal route up there.

it is a bit different imo when a raid mob is repeatedly pulled through walls with the intent to engage it. but thats the thing, its just my opinion. the only reason i think the VP ceiling area should be considered an exploit is because of the insane view it gives anyone of the zone in, xygoz lair, and area past first bridge.

Well Basically, besides roamers, TMO insta pulls Dragons to zone in to melt them with their 60 man raid force. They do not path through the zone on normal pathings (we hence can't snag aggro) since the dragon "flies off world through the zone" to entrance.

We didn't go off world until we discovered TMO was when we repeateadly killed them for long hours, they had no choice but to hide there.

Since GMs are fine with this, we are adopting the same strategy, just insta zone in your raid force or insta log it in, and have the zone in trained away whilst you pull a dragon off world and make it pop at zone in. If you don't do this, it lasts for hours, and then its just a train war (It took TMO 15 hours to kill Hoshkar and keep a 55 raid force ready every minute during this time, hence burning them out and not showing for Trakanon and Talendor the day after that FE killed without competition).

It's pretty easy to get a single pull, even if the dragon were to walk through the zone, just have a rogue summon an eye, have him then sneak/hide, CoH him, and have him move his eye towards LoS and Aggro range of the dragon, you will then summon the dragon to where ever you want , dragon comes in solo (thx for showing us this last PD TMO [You must be logged in to view images. GMs barely care about VP, they said it's a non CSR zone, I believe all they care about is : if you get exp on a dragon you get the loot (it's allowed to KS) but ninja looting is forbidden.

I guess this "free zone" is much needed for the server since there is no progression for now, cunts like Sericx or Tortue are down to train folks in Sebilis since they are bored, if they hadn't VP to let steam go, god knows what else such people would do in other zones [You must be logged in to view images. Episode 4: Forceful Entry spends 5000 man-hours in VP without a single kill to show for it.
