A pair of 5/55 rings (Plat Fire Wedding Ring) should be one of your next purchases. They should run 200-250p/each, but you won't replace them for a LONG time.
After that, I'd probably start off with a full set of banded. Then start upgrading pieces as you get additional cash. Ephirith covered most of the cheaper upgrades. If you plan on tanking, focus on AC over STR, otherwise focus STR.

Totally agree on the 5 AC/+55 HP rings...worth every copper...
Will last you a very long time or if you decide to switch to another toon, -- great little twink items...[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Hero Bracers should not be too hard to get. Mino Hero is up all the time in Steamfont. Get help killing him and then do the faction work to finish the Hero Bracer quest. Often times there's a high-level rogue in Steamfont waiting for Starfyre to pop who can kill hero for you. My little ranger has the Shackles, just needs to do the faction work...
