take a db snapshot sunday night. everything will reset after this event, and awards handed out after revert.

-for 1 week server is permadeath + full item loot
-every killshot you get on someone adds ALL of their experience to yours.
-at the end of the week, or whenever only one 61+ character remains on server that person wins and gets some reward. revert the db back to its state from before the event.

issues -
-the server is probably not coded to handle scaling up to level 90 or whatever, so that might need a look at. we dont need new spells and abilities past level 60, just scale up hp + resists vs spells and hit rates etc as would happen if a lvl 55 were fighting a lvl 60.

an option is to give a permanent undispellable buff or ammo slot item that grows in power with each kill within your lvl range.

another option is to keep the highlander xp gain concept, but max lvl is 60 and enable AA's. most aa's wins (whether they do anything or not is up to source code).
