Do you have an Ethernet cable try attaching directly to the router and testing that out just to completely rule out the wireless.

Anyone figure out a solution to this? Have the same problem. Playing fine, no increase in ping or latency, then a black "You have been disconnected" screed and the game loads character select. I can then log in normally. This seems to happen every 45 min to an hour, but not on a consistent time frame.

This problem returned EXACTLY when my router was unplugged. As soon as I got reconnected, I got into EQ and the disconnects started up again. Any ideas?
Yeah; your internet connection is shitty.

Run this : http://www.speedtest.net/

I built a brand new computer and it worked fine at work, took it home and connected it to wireless (shitty wireless) and I get booted half of the time before I even make it logged in, by moving the computer to another room I have the same problems you describe. My solution was to plug myself directly into the router and all problems have gone away.

Also to verify this open a cmd prompt and "ping www.eqemu.net" and if you get a slow reply or time out then you know for sure it is your internets.
