for real though, it is indeed bad form to straight up ask on the forums for help.

There is an *extremely* giving atmosphere on P99, you just need to jump in and run around a bit. You might be pleasantly surprised at what you find.

Me personally, I usually only give stuff away to people who don't ask... every so often I'll go into EC and unload the useless stuff i've found while leveling and just hand it out in shouts. I know many, many players who do this as well.

And, if you happen to be a naked iksar and you run by me, well, ill usually stop you and unload whatever I have on you, because I'm an iksar too and everyone hates us [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

tl;dr play the game, i promise the gear will come.

just do what i did when i started - roll a female character and run it to EC to try to score some plat/items, lol...i got about 30p or so when i tried this when i first started playing p99...it helped me fund my spells; also make a level 1 halfling and suicide it, start in MT...see if anyone is killing guards at wall and ask if u can loot the shields, they vendor for like 1.5 plat

let me rephrase that, because as it was posted it does sound incredibly stupid.

You should *absolutely* ask for help on the forums, but it is generally recognized as "bad form" to beg on here.

Does that mean you shouldn't do it? not necessarily, but I pretty much relate it to asking a casual friend (or stranger) if you can come over to play their xbox and eat all their food. It's kind of rude [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

But you'll definitely get assholes like marc throwing pp and lewtz at you as well, so idk, I could be wrong.

I'm kidding about the asshole thing, marc. Well, really, i'm not, but i sort of mean it in a good way.
