You will find that alot of the crying and defeated do not even play on the server anymore. They are simply here to try and scare away as many new players as possible while contributing noting to its success.

You can take almost 90% of the posters on the Red99 forums and assume they are defeated trolls at the hands of Nihilum.

Defeat, being banned and quitting from boredom are all different things. I'm sure some players have quit because of some bind campers and true griefers but you really need to stop trying to take any credit for this. Not that chasing people off the server is something to brag about anyways.

I don't see how sitting in a dungeon fighting mobs and having no contact with players outside your guild has any impact on why someone else quits the game.

Believe it or not I've been on blue lol. Got a decent friends list already and planning an invasion soon. Not sure if I am bringing them to red99 though. We shall see but if I come back, it is going to be with at least 12 more people. I go big or go home. You see, I must learn the ways of the pve to lead men to victory. Most of you have been doing this emus for ever or at least played on blue for a year or two so you know how all the encounters work ect. Unfortunately most of these people went to Nihilum, leaving the blood thirsty pirate pvpers to figure it out. Right now I am gaining knowledge at an exponential rate, soon I will be able to lead people to the pixels they desire.

edit: I am really waiting for naggy/vox to banish because I have some plans in the works. I would like to start a progression guild, not only would this fill the ranks with new players but people would get to experience naggy/vox outside of nilly. i haven't ironed out all the details but I will allow iksars and the lvl cap will be 51 or 52. anyways until then I will probably spend most my time on blue or eqmac. i am havin alot of fun and met some cool ass people. it turns out not everyone is a nilly on blue :P

Well from what I hear Blue has way worse guilds than Nihilum. You probably won't encounter it as quickly as you will on here because they are so far ahead but it is trash once you get to a certain point. You gotta camp spots 24/7, call everyone to get to spot quickest, and engage quicker. It sounds terrible to me.

As far as here goes I will join up with you if you ever come back. I may not join your guild but believe in temporary guild alliances to get stuff done. Especially when it is alliances between underdogs on the server. If you do come back you will lose some players to Nihilum, it is just the nature of the server. Don't be discouraged though, there are a lot of players, including myself, that would never join Nihilum. Not because they are all bad people, but because I understand it is bad for the server and won't be a part of the problem.

Ya I joined a casual guild on blue and havin good times. Surprisingly I've grouped with a ton of people who played on tz, vz, sullon, and rz on live but play on blue here. The majority say they don't play on red because of population or because they are too casual. I had my first experience with TMO the other day. They accidently trained our Vox raid so they let us have first shot. It was fun participating in a pickup dragon raid, now that's fuckin classic!

the thing is, right now, I am not trying to compete with anyone. just trying to enjoy the game while i study for finals. I think there are things in the works to fix the raiding problem on blue but for now I don't have to worry about it. I'll let BDA and TMO duke it out while I happily do my thing. yesterday I was running through oasis, as I ran past the docks I saw dozens of newb corpses. /who said 20 people in zone, people shouting train of sand giants to docks, once again I feel like I am playing classic eq [You must be logged in to view images. When this server went to 10 people at night I slowly leveled a char to 40. I just started playing again last week and I am now 47. its so easy to level its not even funny. i just /who all lfg and make my own group. I've grouped or duoed my entire way to 47 almost always making group from scratch. now a days i just feel bad for ganking people on samwise unless its a nihilum. also I hate our new guild name, and before you say guild names dont matter, well i play in 3rd person and have to stare at it so yes it matters. also my friends from brethren turned on me and try pking me. i dont really wanna fight them so ya thats annoying too. last but not least i never liked the ruleset of this server. FFA is the most retarded ruleset possible for a pvp server. gimme a hardcoded teams server damnit. I've sucked it up for a year now playing this box now I want it my way or no way!

I guess it comes down to havin a good time. right now red is boring. its fun if you play a solo class and want to level to 60 asap but poor melees left behind once again. Last night got my planar robe on blue so I went to Oasis to give my advisor robe away. good times.

You'll find me grinding in Sol B and other classic zones, trying to stay out of Kunark as long as possible.

Got trolled last night big time. So i had this BDA monk come to me and said I needed Identify an item for him for a quest. I had recently reorganized my spell book and moved Identify to the back so without thinking I loaded up and began casting it on him (btw I've never used this spell nor do I know what its actually for), after the 2nd cast I realized he was making fun of my name. Damn I got owned. Cant believe I fell for that lol
