Based on what? a poll spammed by level 50's with nothing else to spend their time on, won by like 51/49? that's only like half the server who didn't want it. Bless the USA

Now i always have to run around in dead empty zones, OMG it encourages antisocial play [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] who knew
Because its not bad enough 1 necro solos 1/2 of lower guk, we want to see a shaman and monk do it too.

If you don't like the way the server is run then I strongly, strongly recommend leaving and playing somewhere else as a possible solution. You're certainly not going to change the minds of the majority of players that are perfectly happy with the change. Embattled arguments in the forums aren't going to endear you to the devs, either, so it's a lose-lose. There's a whole list of EQEmu servers presented when you launch the game. Do yourself a favor; just select another one and click play. Problem solved.

First, it should be pointed out that this isn't a democracy.
I don't see you being forced to pay any subscription, or spend your valuable personal time squashing bugs, updating databases, maintaining servers and code. When you do any of those things you may become entitled to passionate rants on the p99 forums. Until then, probably not.

As has been stated over and over before, it was always planned that global OOC/Auction would be removed when server population was large enough. This isn't news. You even pointed out yourself that these global channels were removed because of increasing population so why are you harping on the poll? It seems like a red herring argument.

I love this server, but holy crap is the whining from a few belligerents ever getting old. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

By a few, you mean like 49% of the server who didn't want it?

You're from America right? Yes i knew it.

"If you don't like the way we bomb your country then I strongly, strongly recommend leaving and living somewhere else as a possible solution"

Is that like your solution to everything?

I'm still curious as to why boxing isn't allowed besides the "i dont like it, so i just spout something to fit my agenda"

As much as you're trying to get an answer. Why not answer why you just won't go play another server?

I'd personally ban you for being a twat, before I death touched you and made you try to waste more time in "empty zones" running back to your corpse.

But I also don't have half the patience that the Dev staff has for people.

My best guess is because its their fucking server and they can do whatever the fuck they want to do with it.

end of discussion until the owner of the project decides otherwise, if you cannot grasp that - then you have mental problems

I don't even need an if/then statement - i'm pretty positive - you have mental problems. All your posts made on this thread somehow infer that this change is because of the USA or americans? Also you act like the global ooc change came from no where. If you had been around you'd know that's the exact opposite, they wanted to disable them from the start but the population was so heavily against it since we had like 50-100 people on at peak hours.

It isnt allowed because boxing doesnt foster group play.

Devs/Beta folks i believe, decided that group play is important to the gaming experience.

There you got your answers.

/end

EDIT: gona try to find you the quote....... just so you cant argue anymore....

Usually americans doesn't care about anyone but themselves.

Population required global chat and no boxing.

Now it's the opposite so what's the deal?

You don't like it, is that all?

So things are only classic on this server if a GM likes it. Amazed.

But removing global communication foster group play?

Devs decided not being able to chat is important to the gaming experience?

The ONLY reason global chat is removed is so people can feel warm and fuzzy sitting in EC. Nothing else besides being "classic"

Why can't people feem warm and fuzzy boxing if that was classic to them, the population apparently allows it now?.

Back in 24. Enjoy morse coding until then
