I was curious about this as well. But in the past, even if the FTE had little to no chance to kill the mob, gm's seem to have ruled that other groups should wait for the FTE to die instead of making a determination that the FTE could not possibly have killed the mob.

I've never heard them say that in a situation involving a spawn sock - we've just never crossed that bridge yet I don't think.

Hmm. This post should just be moved to RNF, its as much as legitimate auction as any rants and flames post currently on the forums. This post should move the GM's enough to do something about the raiding scene on this server, if not..then TMO owns p99 and every other guild should just disband, delete their toons, and try again on another server.

Zeelot's idea is one that has crossed my mind before, I've also wondered why guilds like Asgard, Full Circle, A-Team, etc, etc dont send 1-2 groups down to VS/Trak in these situations to get their free tickets for the VS/Trak Lotteries, as it stands, nothing is stopping you guys from cashing in on the unfortunate situation here

what if theres 4 hours left in the window? still not worth it? you've probably spent a lot more than 4 hours camping less valuable loot many times before. i think i spent around 24 hours camping my first FBSS :s

Aside from it being a completely terrible time. You have what a 1/50 chance of FTE for 50k? When there's 4 hours on window, that's not an efficient use of time.
