I am a meele, fighting to keep casters in the game and their CC arsenal of mez/root/snare,etc and their non-unresistable debuff lines (the lesser malos, the future scent of night, cripple, breath of ro,etc.etc.etc its a long list that you are not even aware of because you have not played with all the spells under this system, like your idiot friend Bamzal who thanks cancel magic sucks) viable with the custom resist system like it is now.

Oh i'm also fighting for group xp bonus, even though im already 60 and of course all my future alts will be far more solo cable then my Paladin (not like im rolling a warrior next, durr). Im fighting for it because its what is best for the server, despite how it will only hinder me from here on out and nerf my solo toon's xp rates.

verdict: White Knight for the servers health, confirmed. hate all you want, I understand you are still feeling the butthurt, but it will pass with time (and asprin). Be a man about it. And trust me when I say ive been fighting for the server and whats best for it longer then you have.

And who was it that performed the tests on dispells and provided them (in beta?? loooong time ago) for the devs to use? Showing what you claim is some new revelation on your part? Shall I link the threads and posts? It was up to Null to do what he would with that data, I respect his decision in the name of server health..do you?

You do realize that I'd settle for "live like"? Wearing 145 magic and getting rooted on a first cast isn't "live like". It's a mess. I don't look at it as a help to one class or another, I look at it as people in greater numbers can spam root and then virtually instagib someone.

Pretty stupid. I was told Null's stuff was fine and just keep trying to get more magic resist.. well 120 magic resist later I got chain whirled with a pet on me in Freeport. Don't think I didn't try to "hope things out".

Correcting root/stuns/blind isn't something that is going to take hundreds of hours. It's a major issue that requires a minor fix. People upstairs keep pointing the finger at Null instead of making the change. I'd rather just post the bug reports and wait for them to get around to fixing them so I can play on the server I thought they were going to release.
