I agree, the evidence didn't look rock solid to me.

I just felt that amelinda stepping down as GM without at least saying something like

"I no longer have time to be GM so i'm stepping down, Best wishes to everybody yadayadayada".

just gives the trolls more fodder to feed on and tie into their theories. My opinion is if you can stop a good deal of trolling with just a sentence or two why not?


I can understand not confirming or denying recent activities rogean, but its not to say it hasn't happened in the past with others like uthgaard, secrets, etc.

It can be tiresome to deny trolls over and over who might be using made up evidence, but I think it can be worse to stop denying and just ignore problems.

because its none of our business, and the trolls are going to troll irregardless. i hope this situation is a wake up call to the whole server. we got something special here, dont let a couple of no-life internet rejects ruin it for the people that actually enjoy this server. be appreciative of what the staff has done for us

I fully understand it being "none of our business" but its extremely out of character for amelinda to NOT talk about her personal life on forums, in game, and on the various chat programs.

but I really have no desire to know all the indepth workings of her life, it has no bearing on this project to me.

It just seemed odd / out of character that somebody as outspoken as amelinda would leave of her own accord without at least saying goodbye and thanking all the great people on this server!

I don't want to criticize the staff here (even if constructive) but you would be right that one problem on the server is that it is too filled with drama and trolling.
