Great Divide key yeah. Iceclad was also a port in, but didn't require a key from what I remember but it might have. Then you could take the boat from Nro to Iceclad, and run through EW to get to GD.

The keys were basically just intended to make everyone walk through part of the expansion to venture the dangers, see the sights etc. They weren't really hard to get, but they took the key req out pretty fast after the launch.

*** Welcome to Luclin ***

"As you know, youngster, we of the League of Antonican Bards have made
it our primary goal to travel to places before others. It is our duty
to see what hasn't yet been seen and to make song of it when we return.
We carry news, song and spirit to all of Norrath. We have also taken it
upon ourselves to carry personal news in the form of letters wherever
possible. And that's what I've called you here to talk about.

...

- Velious portal teeth (Great Divide, Wakening Lands and Cobalt Scar)
are no longer required to teleport to those locations. These items are
also no longer soul bound.

I loved that idea for league of antonican bards, that was fun to do sometimes when you were bored. I used to just make a lvl 5 bard and see how far I could get without dying somewhere, I would just plan a night around it.

My fondest memories of all of everquest were back in my velious days, farming the Geo's in CC. I loved that zone

Hmm, so shadowknights and necromancers can fear kite them eh, sounds exciting! Would the clicky fear staff work reliably for the job?
