if you farm for AC in SRO, quite simply you're a moron.

the odds of AC popping in OOT is way better - the spawn is on a fucking island at a certain location requires 1 or 2 PHs to kill that r static

.... I don't know for sure but It's rumored that OOT spawn is 1% chance. 6 min ph. That adds up to 10% chance per hour of an AC.

Taken directly from http://wiki.project1999.org/index.php/Ancient_Cyclops :
There is a 10% chance of the AC spawning as long as the spawn comes at night. With correct timing you have a 19% chance per Everquest Day (~72min) of seeing an Ancient Cyclops.

Figures to me if the 1% chance is true; the Sro camp is much much better. However adding on the extra 12 minutes (2 PH's in OOT) that totals up to 12%.

Once you figure the three mobs on that path which is not hard to do at all ( unless your tongue seems to be attracted to any nearby windows and/or your shoulder ) then that should be the better camp.

There is also a PH in SK which seems, at least on this server, to have a better chance of spawning than the PH in SRO

i hear there was a PH in QH,MT and RM which are more difficult to spawn, but numerous PH's which gives u a better chance plus no-one camps them there... best bet to go there.

Just re-read the wiki again, seems like this is true, It just suggests to kill all 3 until you find the 30 min spawn.

Seriously, the AC can spawn in SK. It's where I got my ring and it only took 2-3 hours. Within another 2-3 hours, he spawned again [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Little research will get you the PHer info and where to camp for it

Jboots for the people!! From what I have read S Karana AC spawns somewhere near paw, and may have other cyclops as placeholders. http://vesicadei.com/forums/index.php?topic=2680.0 This screenshot shows it I think north of paw
