Not even sure who trollborn is , just another random piece of trash, the only decent pvpers in Nihilum were oddjob and hijinx but I digress to my real thought / reason to post.

Amuk, I had the exact conversation about what you just posted with Dacuk a few days back regarding need for multiple guilds to be constantly raiding to have meaningful pvp.
The real thrill for me and some of my guildies Ive spoken to in EQ is mass pvp over raid targets. The problem is we arent ages 14-17 anymore and many players on red99 dont have the time to raid everynight for pixels thus generating fun mass 10v10+ pvp situations. Being on such a low population server compared to LIVE eq where you could log in anytime and find 20+ guildies on and go get some mass pvp is rough. which brings up my next thought on Kilbur/Searyx oppossing views on added content / xp rate / support from staff.

Kilbur I agree with you 100% on your thinking that the games these days compared to EQ are shit and the difficulty of eq truly makes it amazing but, like searyx or someone mentioned this population is LOW as fuck compared to live and with that playing a warrior, monk, rogue, without a bunch of RL friends literally makes you want to quit after a week of grinding lightblues solo. I watched many people roll melees and quit FAST or reroll to wiz/dru/bard which is fine but I think to have all classes be relatively equally played the devs should and did add xp mods because there just isnt enough population to be real EQ bud. On live you could log into sebilis shout LFG and pick up a group within 20minutes there or karnor or HS no problem. On red99 you go to guk your dead within 5 minutes as a melee back to doing shit alone shouting for a port then logging off. You all watched it happen. As for playing red69/legacy of zek yeah its easy to lvl, yes there is also global ooc and bugs to all hell but you know what? Theres pvp too, good luck finding any on red99 with 15 pop prime time, other than maybe some nihilum beating off each others cocks in air plane.

I love the Code on red99 and i wish the population could stay a 150ish forever but it didnt and if it does ill be back and i know some of my FF guildies will be back too.

And you know whats funny too is that maybe you weren't there or many just noone knows you Trollborn, but before FF quit red99 there was a solid week of PVP of Naggy and with GMs like sirken / Amelinda ghosting/watching you bluebie retards get shitcanned and then ragelogging hourish after every single night. 14 plus people on both sides fun as fuck either way but you lost bad, 2 nights with less then 3 deaths on our side after it was said and done. Either way we didnt kill naggy ...oh well lol, we killed you and that why we came. Enjoy those pixels that failed you in 90% of all 10v10+ situations versus FF/pals including the last and most hilarious one In west karana @Qhills zoneline where you guys were flawlessly crushed and laughed at. Server is dead for now (

ill admit im checking out blue. never rolled there and wanted to play eq with a good population. ive met a few Nihilum alts but they wouldnt tell me who. were complaining about answered the batphone for sky lol. anyhow mellow since i congratulated you on the win can you hook a brotha up on blue?

Ive also dirty my weiner on legacy, but the server is such a joke its like a retard coded it and i'm on there mostly to troll ooc and watch funny YT's and shit talk. I agree the YT and whatnot make a funner PvP experience and should be the next thing implemented on red, but really is not 100% necessary... Also, the XP there is WAY too fast, people have naked level 50s......... O, and I see a lot of massive item farming from those who claim they want to PvP and dont give a fuck about pixels lol.

We all know the population is the problem. And we all agreed that the funnest times had were FF v Nihilum at SolB, with both sides winning and losing mind you. The difference was that Nihilum would still log on the next day after a defeat, and FF didn't...

With the issue being a steady population on the best coded server, why split it up? Why did Holocaust leave red to go to legacy where the numbers are equal with boxing?

I know you guys played VZTZ for X years and became accustomed to the easiness of it, the quick leveling and easy item loots because of a poorly coded box, but if those who quit returned to red, the pop would be back to 100's (FF + NIHI + IF). The Pop decline snowballed with a few quitting, their friends quitting, their friends quitting, randoms quitting because of decline...

I'm pretty confident Kunark will bring back the majority, and a handful of those saying it won't know as well because they are still auctioning in anticipation for it; but it would be nice if we could all have fun on the same quality box.

BTW after the double xp weekend, Rogean hopped on to turn OOC back on and did a +50% boost ontop of the scaled XP, it's still in place and I hope its permanent. Give it a try, it's what YOU all wanted.
