Zoned out of Mistmoore with group about 20 mins ago, have not been able to get back in since, now 5 times in a row when I try to log in, I have no characters and it tells me my spell list it out of date, repatching with EQemu does not help

Santer,

I had a similar issue recently. The patch didn't take the first time, or the second. I closed down the game, and then used EMU to patch to a different server with different spell list.
Then I went back and did Project 1999 again.

Loaded the game and got the same error.
Closed game, (did not repeat the above) went straight into P99 and then it worked.

EDIT: Seems like the double xp is gone.

So repatched spells_us etc, got into the game, tried to zone into MM, and wham. lockup again, now nothing I do works, cannot get back into the server at all

Are you sure it locked up?
Mine is zoning without any loading screens - and during that transition, my mouse cursor spins and EQ stops responding; then I appear on other side.
