I'm guessing what he meant was that that the 49ers have won five rings and have never lost a superbowl game, where as the Steelers have won six but lost two. So on winning % alone, yes the 49ers are "the best". But if we're going to include every team with a perfect record at the big game, we need to include the Ravens, Saints, Jets, and Bucs who also have a perfect record (with less wins). Overall wins though goes to the Steelers.
