Suicide XP Loss

At least on blue servers there definitely was xp loss due to any environmental death you could engineer. /shrug /anecdotebattle

Theres not supposed to be XP loss on suicide deaths according to an old RZ article I found. I just drowned myself on red99 and lost 10% of a level.

Environmental deaths resulted in no exp loss from RZ. Pulling off ring, falling off cliff, drowning .....

Anyone remember if you lost exp from a dot? I thought there was a chance pain and suffering could strike you and you'd lose exp, and if missed, you didnt lose exp ? Could be wrong about the dot part

Does anybody out there know anything about how much xp loss is supposed to occur when you die by self inflicted ways? HT, Lich, Manastone, etc etc..... At lvl 19 I lost 1 yellow and 2 blue bubbles worth of xp by HT myself. I do not lose that much vs NPC or PVP. Is it supposed to be more bc of pvp server? Did it factor in xp loss from suicide + npc + pvp death?

Configured confirmed Eskay, worst sk on the box, killed himself accidentally with harm touch while exping.

His solution to the issue was to completely remove harm touch from his hotkey bar instead of just getting better at not pushing random buttons like a sausage fingered african miner.
