I was making roughly 600-700 a week. That's not really 1000%.
Either way, it's much more than you.

Hey, hey we got off on the wrong foot pal. I didn't realize you were used to making a shitty 600-700/weekly. If that's the case, congrats on your 3fold pay increase, hopefully you can stay on hourly for a lot longer! It's going to really suck when you have to go back down to that set 600-700 when the work dries up, no more tranny hookers, no more Sizzler, no more Cracker Barrel... put away the $$ while you can you high roller you.

Your current Federal Income Tax rate puts you at 17.9%: Fed Income Tax - 343.77 Pre-tax - 1920.00 Rate ~17.9% Total annual income determined based on hourly wages and 2000 hour work-year at 17.9% income tax - $55,000. $55,000 / 2000 hrs = 27.50/hr 1920/27.5hr = ~70 hours Now, if you're not fibbing and you did infact only work 40 hours we're looking at: Fed Income Tax - 343.77 Pre-tax 1920.00 1920/40hrs = $48/hr $48/hr based on 2000 hour work-year = $96,000 Tax rate for $96,000 = 21.35% Weekly federal income tax at 21.35% = 409.92 Total due in Fed Income Tax pre deductions = $20,497 Total you'll have paid at your current rate = $17,876.04 If you're not lieing you should really have your employee tax forms changed so that you're not underpaying by what will be $3,000 at the end of each year. | |||
