Word has it that all of the priests drop it in LOIO: Revenents, Adherents, Revealers, and the Chancellor. The gem oracle is a necro, and therefor not a priest, so I assume he does not drop it.

My friend has had one drop off of a gem oracle. I have 2 on my monk it took me 40+ hours or so, luckily I had 4 bracers of the hidden drop too. I had one drop off of an adherant and the other from a revealer. I am to believe that any caster can drop it.

Kindly in Cabilis from killing sarnaks in LOIO. Only seen 1 in that time, probably around 50-75+ hours.

It's all luck sadly with the RNG. My first two took about 60+ and second pair took about 25+. Buddy of mine got two in 8 hours. And for all the controversy about who drops it, it's not all casters. It's only priests so only if they can heal basically. That's as far as I know. 3 of mine came from adherents and one came from a revealer.

Took me roughly 2 hours of constant non-stop killing of Sarnaks in LOIO and finally got one off an Adherent. I was going after casters but killed the melee in between to help spawn casters and it seemed to have work because there was always a caster around to kill.

Necro'd - So the earring mainly drops off the caster mobs? None from Berzerkers & knights in OT, etc?

I just dinged 25 on my monk tonight and was excited to head over to LOIO and try to get one of these earrings. Sadly, though, while I can take on the recruits and some legionnaires, the caster mobs - adherents mainly (which supposedly are only ones to drop the earring?) tear me a hole bigger than goatse.

Do people group in the sarnak fort often in this zone or should I just plan to come back in a few levels?

Yeah people do group in there. Usually a ledge group starts.

I took a mage into Chancellor's room in LOIO and cleared it for about 6 hrs and got two earrings.

Devs have been kind then. This earing should be as rare as the SBS in Sebilis.

Took me a total of 40, it's pretty damn rare. And I have been there other times just killing for fun for a good 5 hours more and haven't seen any. I have seen 5 Bracers of the Hidden tho lol.
