I do agree with you they do not owe us anything. I am thankful for the opportunity to play. What bothers me is just the unequal treatment we players are getting. If it were me i'd be banned. If it were someone else they'd be suspended. That amazes me. We know SOE doesn't care about cheaters in their servers, they dont even investigate such claims. To go through all the trouble identify and isolate cheaters and say hey dont do it again, is almost just as bad, if not worst. Finding out there were 365 changes nothing because in a couple days they'll all be back laughing it off and inflating the markets with items they acquired with such programs.

Who got unbanned, i havent seen one?

Where is this unequal treatment talk coming from? In the vast vast majority of cases cheating = ban. In this particular case, due to the mass number of accounts they caught they decided suspension + punishment + proving they would catch anyone mq2/myseqing in the future was enough. If you were caught in this bunch you would be suspended, not banned, just like everyone else. You can surely argue that the cheaters should have been punished harder but I don't see how you can say it is unequal punishment since all cheaters caught in this way got the same punishment.

I think people are coupling the cheating issue with other issues that have occurred this past week. Xzerion and VP, Uthgaards reasons for leaving, and probably a few other things that I'm not aware of.

Combine all those, and where those issues point make a lot of folks feel there's unequal treatment on the server.
