Best casual solo class? Mage or Necro.

necros can do pretty much everything, i'd argue they're the most versatile class.

it's also pretty hard to die with a self rune, harmshield, and fd. and if you do die, summon your body and do it again.

Whichever you choose, you won't be disappointed in their soloing power. Once a mage gets a torch of alna, they don't need anything else while the necro benefits from a lot of HP gear.

If you have to choose, I'd say Mage simply because you can do more just starting out.

A necro would be sitting oom, or low on hp, if they tried to sustain clearing that entire island at 50 repeatedly. (or under like when I started to do it...)

Good piont, this is exactly why mages are the masters of getting plat and necro are the masters at getting dungeon items.
