I used MQ2 on projectEQ. I am not surprised that some people might accidentally leave it running when switching over to p1999. What I do not know is whether having it running is enough to be an offensive. Perhaps it's only detected if you actually run a script as opposed to just having MQ2 running? On pEQ they don't allow the scripts that give you tracking abilities or instant movement or autoexperience or overpowering things. But I know some people -do- use them on pEQ. I disabled a lot of the native scripts from running - too clunky.

Fortunately, my account(s) are ok. I must not have left it running.

well cyano, my story could easily be verified, If they would look more into it, But ofcourse that's not going to happen :P Like i said earlier if i was hacking i was doing a piss poor job of it, because i busted my ass to get from 23-29, lots of grouping in mistmoore, i had 200 plat on me that i earned from just hitting 29 and being able to port...my druid is dressed in mostly patchwork armor lol, If i wasnt suspended for accidentaly logging in for 10 seconds with mq2 active, then i was wrongfully suspended. that simple.

Mala, and no i didnt, because there are people who cheat and screw the game over.and there theres people who enjoy p99 and i've been a faithful player for like 4 months now, and my 4 months of legit play time compared to 10 seconds of logging in with a script running, Show be enough for them to see that it was an accident and wasnt on purpose and that i wasnt trying to cheat.

Using any such program to play EQ is not only unnecessary, but fundamentally undermines the amount of fun the cheater can derive from the game. I would say that its like the old saying, "You're only cheating yourself" - but unfortunately that is not true, because it provides unfair advantage.

It's just lame. It's against the rules. Follow the goddamn rules - is it really so hard for you?

I mean, maybe the guy is making it up. Or maybe he really does play on EZ where a couple plugins are allowed and really did forget to close it one day (which would be really easy to do)?

mwatt have you read anything i posted? EZ server allows MQ2 stick and map thing, i didnt cheat on p99 damnit, Yes i left it running when i logged in whcih was my fault. i have followed the rules.
